School District 214, Ala Carte Entertainment (Finn McCools and Moretti's Ristorante & Pizzeria), and the Chicago White Sox are proud to announce "A Night Remembering Orlando Rivas," a special community event honoring the life, service, and heroism of Buffalo Grove High School security guard Orlando Rivas.
Orlando Rivas tragically lost his life while protecting students as they crossed the street after school—an act of courage that has left a lasting impact on the entire community. This event will celebrate his legacy, his dedication to student safety, and the selflessness he demonstrated every day.
Our goal for the evening is to bring together students, families, educators, and community leaders for a powerful night of remembrance and unity.
